Protests against coronavirus restrictions take place in Berlin

Opponents of restrictive measures against the coronavirus pandemic are holding several protests in Berlin, transfers Interfax. According to local newspapers, the authorities issued an order to fit water cannons to the site of one of the actions, but they did not come to use.

We are talking about the square on which the Victory Column was installed, not far from the Brandenburg Gate, where hundreds of supporters of the Querdenken 711 movement gathered during the day, the square was cordoned off by the police. But the protesters dispersed after warnings from the police.

The action was not coordinated with the city authorities due to the inability to comply with the rules of social distance during the pandemic.

Several people at the rallies in Berlin were detained, the press did not specify exactly how many people were taken away by the police.
