The authorities of Tuva have introduced new restrictions due to the situation with the coronavirus in the region. About it reported on the official website of the republic.

Residents were allowed to go outside only on urgent matters.

“It is forbidden to move citizens without work and service needs, the population – without urgent personal needs, including restrictions on visits to water bodies located on the territory of the republic,” the website says.

Authorities also closed non-food stores, markets, beauty salons, dry cleaners, repair shops, swimming pools and parks. In the region, only pharmacies, cell phone shops, as well as shops “stand-alone or have a separate entrance in multi-storey residential buildings selling essential goods” will operate.

In addition, children under 14 were forbidden to go out without adults.

By data of the headquarters of the republic, over the past 24 hours, 191 new cases of COVID-19 infection have been identified in the region.

On July 13, authorities announced that due to the increase in morbidity, public transport will not run on weekends, and catering establishments will only work for take-out or delivery.
