Earlier, Dozhd drew attention to the fact that on July 9, 711 active cases of coronavirus were registered in St. Petersburg – 23 times less than a month ago. At the same time, during the month, St. Petersburg every day updated the maximum number of infections.
On June 28, presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said that the “Scarlet Sails” holiday was held in accordance with the recommendations of the sanitary authorities. “Each major event is held taking into account the recommendations of the sanitary authorities, the chief sanitary doctor of a particular region and a particular city. As far as we know, the same recommendations were formulated in St. Petersburg – and they were implemented on the spot, ”said Peskov.
In St. Petersburg on the night of June 26, a holiday of graduates of St. Petersburg schools “Scarlet Sails” was held, it was attended by about 40 thousand people.
