On June 28, presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said that the “Scarlet Sails” holiday was held in accordance with the recommendations of the sanitary authorities. “Each major event is held taking into account the recommendations of the sanitary authorities, the chief sanitary doctor of a particular region and a particular city. As far as we know, the same recommendations were formulated in St. Petersburg – and they were implemented on the spot, ”said Peskov.
