The Kremlin is not taking seriously the petition posted on Change.org demanding the resignation of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, as voting on this site “can be cheated by bots,” Dmitry Peskov, a spokesman for the Russian president, said. About it writes TASS.
“There is an impersonal voting, which can be cheated by bots and so on. Well, we treat this accordingly, ”Peskov told reporters.
Petition to Vladimir Putin demanding the resignation of the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, February 6 posted Russian opposition politician Ilya Yashin on Change.org. It says that Kadyrov does not correspond to his position, because during his time in power in Chechnya he was unable to solve the economic problems of the republic, and also repeatedly made public threats against journalists, human rights activists and other citizens.
By the time of this publication, more than 20,000 votes had been submitted for the petition.
Earlier, Peskov also reported that the Kremlin did not plan to interfere in the conflict between Kadyrov and the Yangulbaev family, whom the head of Chechnya had promised prison or death. He answered the same question about State Duma deputy Adam Delimkhanov – the deputy promised to cut off Yangulbaev’s heads. Peskov responded to Kadyrov’s threats that he has the right to a personal opinion in the Kremlin no possibility to deal with the accusations against him, and on the words of Delimkhanov – what is it not a function of the Kremlin and a question to the ethics commission. He also stated that blood feud is a tradition of Chechnya, “although it does not correlate with Russian legislation.”
