In Shanghai Disneyland, almost 34,000 visitors were closed for several hours due to the discovery of a coronavirus in one of them. About it informs Associated Press.
The Disneyland administration announced that it is no longer accepting new visitors due to the discovery of a coronavirus infected in the amusement park on the evening of October 31. Tens of thousands of people who by this moment were in the park could not leave Disneyland for several hours, because the police and doctors decided to conduct mass testing.
Local authorities later announced that the test results of all visitors were negative.
According to local media reports, it was necessary to temporarily close the park and conduct mass testing because of a visitor who was in Shanghai Disneyland on October 30. He was confirmed COVID-19 after he left the park and went to the neighboring city of Hangzhou.
As the country’s authorities previously said, China hopes to achieve zero infection rates before the start of the Beijing Winter Olympics, which will take place in February 2022.
