Belgium mistakenly disclosed data on the graves of the perpetrators of the terrorist attacks in Paris 2015

[ad_1]

An interfaith cemetery in Brussels mistakenly uncovered the graves of three terrorists involved in the November 13, 2015 terrorist attacks in Paris. About it writes Belgian newspaper Le Soir.

The cemetery portal has launched a project to help loved ones find the graves of their relatives among about 5 thousand graves. By mistake, the names of the jihadists were entered into the database: Bilala Khadfi, Shakib Akruhe and Brahim Abdeslam – the brother of Saleh Abdeslam, the only terrorist who survived.

Information about the graves of the participants in terrorist attacks usually remains closed to avoid vandalism, Le Soir notes. The administration of the Brussels cemetery called the incident “an unfortunate mistake” and deleted the information about the burials of the terrorists.

On November 13, 2015, a series of terrorist attacks took place in the French capital. Terrorists in six districts of Paris arranged several explosions, including at the Stade de France, and the shooting of hostages in the Bataclan concert hall. In total, 130 people died as a result of the attacks, and more than 350 were injured.

Responsibility for what happened took terrorist group “Islamic State”, claiming that they committed revenge in response to France’s participation in the operation against Islamists in Syria and Iraq. The attack is considered the largest armed attack in French history since World War II.
