Dmytro Kuleba, Ukraine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, hopes that the summit of the North Atlantic Alliance in Vilnius will be able to change the perception of Ukraine’s membership in NATO, moving away from the decision of the Bucharest summit.

According to the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, membership in NATO is “the last major problem of Ukraine’s foreign policy, which has not budged since February of last year.”

“We moved all the topics: membership in the EU, armaments of Ukraine, reforms, relations with Africa and other regions of the world. We raised virgin land – all of it. We have one hectare of virgin land left untouched – it is NATO membership. And we have to raise this virgin land,” he added.
