Relatives of Russian contractors report on social networks about the transfer of troops from the Far East. Conflict Intelligence Team and Radio Svoboda studied their comments under videos with the dispatch of Russian military equipment. Some report that they are sent “on a business trip” and “for exercises in Belarus”, others write about Ukraine or the Ukrainian border.

The exercises in question are the joint exercises of the Armed Forces of Belarus and Russia “Allied Resolve – 2022”, which should take place on the territory of Belarus. Russian military equipment does indeed arrive in Belarus, but only a part of it arrives at the training grounds where the exercises will take place. Another stops near Gomel, 40 km from the Chernihiv region of Ukraine and 90 from the Kiev region.

According to the Conflict Intelligence Team and Radio Liberty, most of the comments were left under three videos. The publications do not provide links to the videos for the safety of the authors of the comments, but to verify the information they are ready to provide data without censorship to the media.

Commentators are divided into two camps: someone claims that this is “not just a business trip”, referring to some secret order.
