At least nine Polish policemen were injured in clashes with migrants

Over the last day, at least 161 attempts by migrants to break through from Belarus to the EU were recorded, twice these attempts were accompanied by the use of violence. Migrants threw stones and sticks at border guards and soldiers. The Polish military department believes that the actions of the migrants were controlled by the Belarusian border guards, who supplied them with flash-noise grenades.

On the eve of illegal immigrants took another attempted assault borders of Poland from the side of Belarus. The security forces responded with stun grenades, tear gas and water cannons.

Last weekend, a group of illegal migrants also threw stones of Polish policemen, trying to break through the Belarusian-Polish border. Another group of 50 illegal immigrants managed to destroy part of the fence on the border and broke into the territory of Poland. The police detained 22 of them. The detainees turned out to be citizens of Iraq.

The situation on the border between Poland and Belarus became more complicated last week, when several thousand migrants from the Middle East countries approached the border with Poland from the Belarusian side, wishing to move to the EU. Polish officials have described what is happening as the most difficult moment since the beginning of the crisis on the border.
