The detainees turned out to be citizens of Iraq.
The situation on the border between Poland and Belarus became more complicated last week, when several thousand migrants from the Middle East countries approached the border with Poland from the Belarusian side, wishing to move to the EU. Polish officials have described what is happening as the most difficult moment since the beginning of the crisis on the border.
