Chinese authorities have discovered a coronavirus imported from Russia in the city of Heihe in the northeast of the country. About it informs Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the City.
Coronavirus was detected on packages of goods imported from Russia.
Heihe authorities inspected the city’s warehouse where the goods were stored. The coronavirus was detected on the outer packaging of four types of Russian products: chocolate wafers of the KONTI brand (production date August 4), KONTI cookies (August 4), KONTI melon-flavored jelly candies (August 17), and milk powder (October 8, 2020) …
The exact number of packages with the detected virus was not reported. The city authorities urged citizens who have the listed products with the specified production date to immediately disinfect and seal the goods.
In the last month, new cases of coronavirus infection inside the country have been recorded in China. The outbreak covered 21 regions, during this time almost 1.5 thousand infected were identified in the country. In the province where the contaminated goods from Russia were found, more than 270 cases of infection were recorded.
