In Kalmykia, a criminal case was opened against the ex-policeman over the theft of 152 horses

The Office of the Investigative Committee for Kalmykia has opened a criminal case of large-scale fraud against a former police officer. He stole 152 horses and was fired. reported on the SK website.

According to the investigation, on May 12, 2021, a 25-year-old policeman, together with unidentified accomplices, kidnapped 131 adult horses and 21 Kalmyk foals from a farm in the Cellin district. The damage to the horse owner is estimated at over 6 million rubles. The fate of the stolen horses is not reported.

The investigation of the case continues, the court will have to choose a preventive measure for the ex-policeman.

In December 2020, the court in Novosibirsk sentenced by the age of three, conditionally, the ex-head of the police department in the Dzerzhinsky district for bribing food in a cafe. He was fed free of charge in the Berezka cafe for “criminal protection”. According to the release of the Investigative Committee, for bribes Grashchenkov instructed his subordinates not to draw up administrative protocols against businessmen who “arbitrarily occupied municipal land plots” and used them for commercial activities.
