The wife of rapper Andy Cartwright, Marina Kohal, accused of his murder and dismemberment, was transferred from jail to house arrest. About it informs RIA Novosti.
Kohal has been in custody since July 2020. The investigation insisted on extending the measure of restraint, but the city court decided to send the accused under house arrest.
Recall that in July 2020 in St. Petersburg in an apartment at a house on Nevsky Prospekt discovered fragments of the body of 30-year-old Ukrainian rapper Andy Cartwright. His wife Marina Kohal was taken to the police, she explained that her husband had died of an overdose, and she did not want his inglorious death, so she decided that “he would just disappear” and wanted to hide the body.
How reported lawyer Pavel Chikov, the woman dismembered the deceased and put them in packages. She did not know where and how to hide it, and decided to consult with a lawyer, who called the police. Biomaterials, a hammer, a knife, a cutting board, a hacksaw for metal, a plastic basin and a pillowcase were seized from the apartment.
Later examination showedthat Cartwright did not use drugs.
Subsequently, the investigation came concluded that the murder of the rapper was premeditated by his wife. She was charged with murder. According to the UK, she “bought a medicine in one of the city’s pharmacies, which she later used to commit a crime.” What drug is in question, the SK did not explain.
