October 21 edition of the New York Post reportedthat members of the Taliban terrorist movement beheaded Mahajabid Hakimi, a member of the Afghan national youth women’s volleyball team. The publication drew attention to the fact that several users of social networks at once questioned the media report about the death of Hakimi. According to users, the athlete did not die in October, but in the first week of August – before the Taliban took under the control of the capital of Afghanistan.

Journalist Deepa Parent, in particular, wrote that she spoke with the Mahajabid family, who said the news of her death was “misleading.”
