TNT TV channel presented a trailer for the “prison sitcom” entitled “Correction and Punishment”. In the trailer, actress Anna Mikhalkova tells one of the inmates that a prisoner who has recently arrived in the colony needs to be raped.
The series takes place in a colony settlement. Anna Mikhalkova plays Alena Neverova, the deputy head for educational work in the colony.
As the description says, Neverova builds educational work, “as she thinks, on extremely good methods, Soviet films, memories from childhood, songs and other categorically positive things.”
Previously producer of the series Yamur Gilmutdinov toldthat the FSIN advises the authors and provides them with the necessary assistance. “We showed the pilot series to the press service of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia, and we established good contact,” he said.
The series will premiere in 2022.
