The Presnensky District Court of Moscow rejected the first lawsuit to cancel the results of remote electronic voting in the elections to the State Duma. About it informs TASS with reference to the press service of the court. The decision can be appealed to the Moscow City Court.

“The court did not find grounds to satisfy the claim of a member of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Andrei Grebennik,” said the agency’s interlocutor.

The lawsuit was filed by a former candidate for deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Andrei Grebennik. He won in his constituency in Moscow in paper ballots, but lost to the United Russia candidate in electronic voting. The situation is the same in several other districts in Moscow.

The capital’s communists are demanding the cancellation of the decision on the voting results. In all districts, the communists criticized the work of DEG – remote electronic voting. The Communist Party believes that the electronic system “changed the results” of the elections. The members of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation have filed 32 lawsuits with the Presnensky Court to cancel the decision following the results of electronic voting in Moscow. In total, the court on Thursday appointed five claims from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation and its members.
