In Moscow, musicians were not allowed to attend a concert in honor of City Day due to the support of Alexei Navalny and participation in protests. About it informs OVD-Info with reference to Dmitry Klyuev, an employee of the State Academic Choir.
In total, 13 people were removed from the concert – 4 employees of the choir chapel, 3 people from the Svetlanov State Orchestra and 6 people from the team of directors. All of them, according to Klyuev, ended up in “FBK bases” or took part in protest actions.
Klyuev told OVD-Info that a week before that, law enforcement officers had come to him and questioned him about the leakage of his data from the FBK databases. Employees, who introduced themselves as a criminal investigation department, suggested that the musician write a statement to Navalny’s structures about the leak of personal data.
“Other suspended ones, one way or another, also appeared in“ Smart voting ”, rallies and the like. The organizers are shocked, no one explained anything to them, ”Klyuev said.
The lists of performers were checked, since Sergei Sobyanin and Vladimir Putin are planning to attend the concert. After checking, the organizers were given lists of people admitted to the concert, from which some musicians and directors were excluded without explanation.
At the end of August, it became known that the Moscow police bypassed or called over a thousand people, demanding to write a statement about the leak of personal data to the structures of Alexei Navalny.
According to OVD-Info, not only those whose data appeared in the public domain after leaks from the sites Freedom Navalny and Smart Voting, but also those who sent donations to the Anti-Corruption Fund, faced police visits.
In June, the Moscow City Court recognized the Anti-Corruption Foundation and other structures of Navalny as extremist organizations. Now the activities of the foundation are officially banned, and its members and even just supporters, according to the new law, will not be able to be elected to the legislative bodies of all levels for several years. Previously, FBK was recognized as an organization performing the role of a foreign agent.
In April, the database of participants in the “Freedom to Navalny” protest leaked into the network. Navalny’s team accused ex-FBK employee Fyodor Gorozhanko of leaking the data, he himself denies any involvement in the leak.
