The magistrate of the court district No. 46 of Kurgan put the former coordinator of Navalny’s headquarters Alexei Schwartz on the wanted list. About it informs Znak.com citing opposition lawyer Vladimir Vagin.
In early June, Schwartz was sued for 1 million 750 thousand rubles in a criminal case due to violation of the secrecy of correspondence. He published telephone conversations of heads of districts about fraudulent voting on amendments to the Constitution. In this regard, the former mayor of Shadrinsk, Viktor Yermishkin, the head of the Ketovsky district, Sergei Dudin, and the head of the Kataysky district, Gleb Morozov, filed lawsuits. Officials say they have experienced “mental anguish and distress” from calls and comments after the recordings of their telephone conversations were posted online.
Officials insisted that the publication undermined their authority as managers, and the head of the Ketovsky district said that this undermined his faith in people.
Dudin demanded 750 thousand rubles as compensation for moral damage, other victims estimated their suffering at 500 thousand rubles.
