The total number of positive tests for coronavirus at the Olympics is 409.

Residents of Tokyo hold protests against the Games, gathering at the National Stadium. The protesters did not take any active actions; they came with placards and shouted slogans.

Tomorrow, August 8, the closing ceremony of the Olympics will take place. Local media suggest that there will be protests tomorrow, as Tokyo is to host the Paralympics in three weeks.
