The Zyuzinsky Court of Moscow arrested Olga Shalina, head of the Moscow branch of the Other Russia Eduard Limonov, for 15 days on charges of disobedience to a police officer. About it report associates of the activist.
Shalina was detained on July 28 and taken to the OVD in the Kotlovka district, where she was left overnight until the trial.
The activist was released after her previous administrative arrest on July 7. She was accused of disobeying a police officer (Article 19.3 of the Administrative Code). The reason for drawing up the protocol was Shalina’s refusal to get into the police car.
The party also reportedthat after the arrest, the police used violence against Shalina. At the OVD they demanded that the activist remove her pectoral cross, explaining that she “could hang herself on it.” When Shalina refused, the officers dragged her into a corridor without cameras and with the use of force cut off the cross. As a result, Shalina was left with hematomas.
Then, several Pussy Riot activists, who were arrested again after their release, were also sent under arrest.
