State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin spent at least 75 million rubles from the budget on flights from Moscow to Saratov and back. It travels on the super-expensive Falcone 7X business jet. This is stated in investigation FBK.
The authors of the investigation compared the dates of flights of the aircraft with the tail number RSD4 and the dates of Volodin’s official visits to Saratov and found that they coincide. Over the past year, this plane flew to Saratov 25 times and the same number back. Each flight costs at least 18 thousand euros.
Volodin is preparing for the elections and is engaged in pre-election PR in Saratov. Navalny’s supporters note that local television regularly airs videos about Volodin’s exploits, as well as how he scolds local officials.
FBK also found out that the state-owned companies – Gazprom, Transneft and others – secretly donate money to Volodin’s charitable foundations, and he makes symbolic investments and promotes at the expense of this. According to TV, social networks and other PR people of Volodin, his charitable projects are: dozens of roads and bridges, a new beach on the Volga embankment, reconstruction of the stadiums Torpedo, Volga, Spartak, Lokomotiv, construction of an ice arena, a shelter for animals, repair of fifty hospitals, polyclinics and even the construction of a mud bath of “European level”. In fact, the State Duma speaker did not spend his money on all this, investigators note.
FBK reminds that the secret wife of Volodin Yana Polyankina, about whom wrote in the investigation by The Insider, changed her surname to Volodin, but their marriage is not officially registered, so she is not in the declaration. Meanwhile, Polyankina owns apartments and houses worth more than a billion rubles. The company “Invest Holodding” is registered for her father, which owns and manages all of Volodin’s assets. Namely, a two-story penthouse in Moscow for half a billion rubles, office space on Bratislavskaya for 76 million rubles and a mansion in the center of Saratov. Previously, this company belonged to the Moscow Fat Plant, but the enterprise was closed, and the land was sold to the PIK group. FBK calculated that the Volodin family received at least 1.5 billion rubles from the deal.
