Earlier it became known that the police detained 12 people at an opposition rally outside the headquarters of the ruling Georgian Dream party in Tbilisi.

The protests began after the Georgian authorities released preliminary data on the causes of death of TV Pirveli cameraman Alexander Lashkarava. According to the Georgian Interior Ministry, the cause of his death was “drug overdose.”

Lashkarava, who was beaten by opponents of the LGBT community on July 5, on July 11 was founddead in their own apartment.

More than 50 journalists in Tbilisi on July 5 suffered from the attack of opponents of the LGBT community, who opposed the March of Dignity.
