Yesterday another trial of Navalny began. Of course, it is difficult to call it a court. Even court shows on TV look more realistic than this. Here’s what happened on the first day.
Navalny is on trial for raising money for the Anti-Corruption Fund and for his political campaign. He did not steal money, but collected donations. How can you steal what people donate voluntarily? In the opinion of the SC – it is possible. They found 4 people – two of them are dummy, and two are under their own criminal cases, that is, under pressure. And forced them to act as “victims”.
Since 2011 we have had more than 300 thousand donorsbut – we emphasize – only four of them managed to be attracted to perjury.
The scale of the so-called “theft” is also striking. The Investigative Committee began by saying loudly declared about the stolen billion. In business, as it turned out, only more than two million appear. And those, we remind you, are from nominees. The best investigators in the country have not found any real theft.
Alexei Navalny said that he rejoiced when he read the materials of the case, because they are the best and final proof that the Anti-Corruption Fund has been working honestly all these years.
Now surprise. The prosecutor believes that Navalny not only stole donations, but continues to do so from the colony. The one where the court is now going on. We are talking about three transfers that one of the victims transferred to the account – no, not Alexey, but Leonid Volkov from February to June 2021. That is, when Alexei was already in prison.
I would like to laugh at this absurdity, but in fact it is a legal trick. If Aleksey supposedly “stole” something while already convicted, then he becomes a “recidivist” and can be transferred to a strict regime colony. This means that the number of visits and letters will be reduced for him, and he will not sit in a barrack with other prisoners, but alone, in a room locked with a key.
From the courtroom, Alexei urged the FBK to continue its work, and we will definitely follow Alexei’s advice – we will continue to investigate corruption. Talk about Putin and his gang that plundered our country.

The judge said that Voronin represents Lilia Chanysheva in the case of extremism and cannot simultaneously represent Navalny. But only Voronin was not allowed to defend Chanysheva either.
Well, in order to finally turn this case into a circus, an article about insulting a judge was added to the theft of donations. The prosecutor read out 104 phrases for a long time and with expression, with which Navalny caused irreparable damage to the judicial system. Putin wants to hide Navalny as far as possible. He wants to be forgotten. But the more he tries to do this, the more attention he draws to Alexei. It is not forgotten or hidden.
