The Saudi Arabian Air Force carried out raids on military and civilian installations in the cities of Yemen, which are under the control of the Houthi rebels from the Shiite movement Ansar Allah. According to the UN, more than 24 million Yemenis (about 80% of the population of the republic) are in need of humanitarian assistance.
