Officials will force Kuzbass miners to take a binding oath. This should contribute to their safety.

The oath reads as follows:

“In front of my comrades, I solemnly swear:

– be worthy of the profession of a miner;

– honestly and conscientiously perform labor duties;

– strictly observe safety rules and be demanding of yourself and your subordinates;

– do not allow employees to perform their duties in the event of threats to their life and health;

– strive to create the safest working conditions in the workplace;

– to prevent the concealment of accidents and accidents;

– respect the work of your comrades and always be ready to lend a helping hand to them;

– honestly work for the good of Kuzbass ”.

There were 285 people underground, of which more than 200 made it to the surface on their own. It is believed that a methane-air mixture exploded there. 51 people died, including five rescuers. Listvyazhnaya was the production record holder.

After the accident, representatives of the prosecutor’s office, Rostekhnadzor, police and officials, after the accident, inspected the mines of the Kemerovo region, during which more than 600 violations were identified, later this number increased to 2,000 violations.
