The court in Novosibirsk found the former head of the district department of precinct Nikolai Noskov and his deputy Roman Tarasov guilty of taking bribes with noodles, buckwheat and vodka. About it informs Taiga.info.
According to the Investigative Committee, in the period from August 2018 to February 2019, the police received bribes from one of the entrepreneurs of the Dzerzhinsky district, who arbitrarily occupied land and placed retail facilities on them.
“The ex-policemen, by virtue of their position, knew about the date, time and place of the raid measures to suppress illegal trade and unauthorized placement of temporary objects together with the employees of the district administration. At the end of June 2018, Noskov and Tarasov met with an entrepreneur (trading in fruits, vegetables) and offered him to report such raids for a monthly remuneration of 26 to 50 thousand rubles in order to avoid being brought to administrative responsibility, ”the prosecutor’s office quotes the publication.
The total amount of bribes in 2018–2019 was estimated at 304 thousand rubles.
In addition, in 2018, Noskov received a bribe from another businessman in the form of two boxes with 84 packs of Rollton instant noodles, 24 cans of buckwheat, 24 bottles of vodka, 12 bottles of wine and five reams of paper.
During the investigation of the criminal case, the defendants did not deny that they had received money from the entrepreneur.
The court sentenced the former security officials to seven years probation and a fivefold fine of a bribe, with the deprivation of the right to hold positions in law enforcement agencies for three years.
