The Moscow Arbitration Court satisfied the claim of Rosneft against Bloomberg, informs “Rain” with reference to court file.
Rosneft filed a lawsuit due to articles, which argued that the Russian authorities are going to spend money from the National Wealth Fund on investments in infrastructure. The Vostok Oil company was named among the likely recipients of this money.
The court ordered Bloomberg to remove the article and publish a rebuttal. The authors of the article, Anna Andrianova and Evgenia Pismennaya, will have to pay six thousand rubles each in favor of Rosneft as compensation for the payment of the state duty.
The company has previously filed a lawsuit over materials from Ekho Moskvy and Dozhd, based on this article. Then the court also sided with Rosneft.
