A teenager from Volgograd, Yaroslav Inozemtsev, who is accused of preparing for an attack on a school, is being transferred to a neuropsychiatric dispensary 500 km away. About it informs Under.
According to the newspaper, this decision was made by the Sochi court. Consideration of the teenager’s case on its merits will begin in ten days in Rostov-on-Don. Earlier, the 3rd Sochi General Jurisdiction Court of Appeal upheld the decision of the Volgograd Regional Court to take Inozemtsev into custody and transfer him to a psychiatric hospital.
At the same time, the decision to change the measure of restraint for a teenager from house arrest to detention in a pre-trial detention center was associated with an error in the tracking system. The bracelet on Inozemtsev’s leg suddenly went off in the middle of the night and transmitted information that he had allegedly entered the school grounds, which, according to the investigation, was going to be attacked last year.
As the teenager’s mother told the publication, the court did not consider evidence of Inozemtsev’s innocence.
According to the investigation, Yaroslav Inozemtsev was preparing an attack on the school, including one of the students, with whom he allegedly had a conflict. The FSB reported that they found an improvised explosive device, Molotov cocktails, components for explosives and cold weapons on the teenager.
Inozemtsev admitted to storing explosives, but explained that he planned to use the arsenal solely for entertainment purposes. The teenager has not attended school since 2019, he was homeschooled due to health problems.
