“In connection with the deterioration of the epidemiological situation in the Sverdlovsk region, I order to remove from 11/02/21 workers who do not have a single vaccination against the new coronavirus infection,” the document says.
According to the newspaper, at least 200 people were suspended from work. According to the order, they retain a salary of two-thirds of the salary.
“Announcement of downtime for unvaccinated employees is a compulsory measure. Uralmashzavod fulfills orders of state importance. The performance of the partner enterprises largely depends on the supply of equipment within the specified period, ”the press service of the plant said.
In early October, it became known that the company’s management threatened to fire employees who did not get the coronavirus vaccine. They stated that in order to continue working, employees need to deliver the first dose of vaccination on November 1, and fully get vaccinated by December 1.
