The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs has put on the federal wanted list the former prisoner Sergei Savelyev, who handed over the video archive of torture in the Saratov prison hospital to the human rights project Gulagu.net. Information about this is contained in the database of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
As indicated in the card in the wanted list of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Sergei Savelyev, who was born in Minsk in 1989, is “wanted under the article of the Criminal Code”. Within the framework of which case the search is being conducted is not specified.

At the beginning of October, the Gulagu.net project reportedthat he had more than 40 GB of video, documents and photos at his disposal. These files testify to cases of mass torture in Russian penitentiary institutions. The inmates were raped and beaten, and they extorted money and information with the help of torture. Vladimir Osechkin said that he received a video from a former prisoner-programmer Sergei, who “was beaten and tortured himself, and then they decided to use it as a professional.”
After publications in the media, the IC department for the Saratov region excited a criminal case under the article on violent acts of a sexual nature committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy. Head of the Saratov Federal Penitentiary Service resigned.
