The case was initiated in Yakutia under article 19.34.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation – failure to perform by another person, information about which is included in the register of foreign mass media performing the functions of a foreign agent, the requirements established by the legislation of the Russian Federation in connection with the recognition of a foreign agent as performing the functions.
In this case, public figure Stepan Petrov was summoned to the regional department of Roskomnadzor to draw up a protocol. The essence of the claims from Roskomnadzor is still unknown. Petrov faces a fine of 10 thousand rubles.
Stepan Petrov heads the public organization “Yakutia – Our Opinion”. The Ministry of Justice entered it into the register of “foreign agents” on August 20 this year.
