They clarified that from October 1, payments established by the law “On State Benefits to Citizens with Children” will be credited to the Mir card. These include maternity benefits, childcare benefits, monthly payments for a third child or subsequent children under three years of age, monthly payments for children between three and seven years of age, pensions and other social benefits from the Pension Fund, unemployment benefits, payments for exposure to radiation.
“If the recipient has not switched to the Mir card, then the bank contacts the recipient of the payment and informs about the incorrectness of the account. Further, the algorithm is as follows: the bank contacts the client through the channels fixed in the offer of the agreement with the bank in order to notify him of the receipt of funds. If it was possible to contact the applicant, then he is usually offered to either receive funds by visiting a bank, or open a Mir account. If it was not possible to contact, then after ten days the bank returns the money to the sender (the body that formed the payment order), ”the ministry said.
They added that after the Mir card is issued, it is necessary to report its details to the authority responsible for the accrual of funds, or to the MFC.
