Roskomnadzor has blocked the website of the LGBT center “Acceptance” in Kazan. About it reported on the center page on Instagram.
“We received a notification about the inclusion of our site in the unified register of prohibited sites, based on the decision of the Shakhunsky district court – Nizhny Novgorod region. The blocking decision was made on July 6. Today our site has been blocked. We are preparing to appeal the court decision, ”the center said in a statement.
On the Roskomnadzor website it saysthat the resource is included in the register prohibited on the basis of Art. 15.1 of the Federal Law of July 27, 2006 No. 149-FZ “On Information, Information Technologies and Information Protection”.
The center is going to appeal this decision.
The Center “Acceptance” was opened in Kazan in the winter of 2019. This is a platform for the LGBT + community, where people can receive, among other things, psychological support.
