ABBA have announced their first studio album in 40 years and have announced a reunion. Relevant statement by musicians made during a YouTube stream.

According to ABBA members, the new album is called Voyage and consists of 10 songs, two of which – I Still Have Faith In You and Don’t Shut Me Down – have already sounded during the stream. The album will be available on November 5 this year.

The musicians said that for the first time after the breakup of the group, they gathered in the studio with the original line-up back in 2018. “At first there were only two songs, and then we said, ‘Okay, maybe we should do a few more,’” said band member Benny Andersson.

It is planned that holograms of artists, who are called ABBA-containers, will perform on the stage. Fans will also be able to see a documentary about the group’s return.

On August 30, ABBA launched an official account on the social network TikTok. The musicians have published a short video showing the hands of a pianist playing the melody of the song Dancing Queen. It was later revealed that it was Benny Andersson. The video received 7 million views.
