Taliban banned women in Afghanistan from working and going out “for security reasons”

The Taliban terrorist group has banned women in Afghanistan from leaving their homes and going to work until “the security system is established.” About it informs The BBC quoted a spokesman for the movement, Zabihullah Mujahideen.

He called this measure “temporary”. “Our forces are not trained how to behave with women, how to talk with women. Until they are completely safe, we ask you to stay at home, ”he said.

According to him, it is difficult for the Taliban to control members of the movement, to make sure that they are “respectful” to women and “do not hurt them.” Mujahid stressed that the Taliban soldiers “are constantly changing and training.”

The Taliban spokesman also urged Afghans wishing to leave the country not to travel to Kabul airport, where, he said, “chaos reigns.” In addition, he appealed to the United States, urging the authorities to stop “encouraging” the emigration of Afghan citizens.

Taliban representatives after complete seizure of power in Afghanistan statedthat will allow women to lead an active lifestyle, but in compliance with the rules of Sharia. In 1996-2001, when the Taliban militants were already in power, residents were forbidden to work and leave their homes without male relatives. They were also required to wear a burqa.

Last week, reports of brutal reprisals against Afghan women for wrongdoing began to come from Afghanistan. For example, in Faryab province, militants killed a mother of four children for refusal to cook food, and in the province of Takhar, a local resident was killed for the fact that she was without a burqa… Human rights defender Najla Ayubi toldthat the Taliban burned the girl alive. They first forced her to make them food, and then accused her of “cooking poorly”.
