Russia from August 27 lifts restrictions on regular and charter flights to the Dominican Republic, South Korea and the Czech Republic, informs TASS with reference to the operational headquarters.
The number of regular flights to Egypt will also be increased from 5 to 15 flights per week on the routes Moscow – Hurghada and Moscow – Sharm-South-Sheikh. The number of regular flights with Hungary, Cyprus, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan will also increase to seven.
Air traffic with Egyptian resorts on the routes Moscow – Hurghada and Moscow – Sharm el-Sheikh was resumed from August 9.
Air traffic between Russia and Egypt was completely interrupted in November 2015 after a plane of the Russian company “Kogalymavia” crashed in Sinai on its way from Sharm el-Sheikh to St. Petersburg. Onboard there were 217 passengers and seven crew members, all of whom were killed.
