A person was killed, another 16 were injured in an accident involving a bus with Russian tourists in the Turkish province of Antalya. About it informs RIA Novosti with reference to the Intourist company, which owns the bus.
As clarified in the Russian Consulate General in Antalya, five more Russian citizens were seriously injured, two of them in the intensive care unit.
Intourist clarified that the bus followed from the village of Konakli to Antalya airport, tourists were supposed to fly to Samara at 21:50 on flight ZF 6394. In total, there were 22 Russian tourists on the bus, including two children.
“According to preliminary data from the traffic police, the bus driver lost control, the vehicle crossed the dividing line and, jumping into the oncoming lane, turned over,” the Consulate General said.
Police and an ambulance are working at the scene. The victims were taken to local hospitals.
