The young man is accused in the United States of involvement in hacking accounts on social networks TikTok and Snapchat, as well as “virtual pursuit of a minor.” Specialists from the FBI, the US Secret Service, and the Internal Revenue Service’s cybercrime units are taking part in the investigation.

On the pages of several American corporations and famous people on Twitter on July 15, 2020, texts of similar content appeared. In them, the scammers urged users to transfer funds in cryptocurrency to the account indicated in the messages. At the same time, they promised to return the amount doubled. According to the authorities, the hackers managed to lure more than $ 100 thousand, transfers TASS.
