China unveils magnetic suspension train capable of speeds up to 600 km / h

[ad_1]

China introduced a magnetic suspension train capable of speeds up to 600 km / h. About it informs Reuters.

The novelty is developed in China and is produced at a factory in Qingdao. The train is expected to become the fastest land transport in the world.

The design of the train uses an electromagnetic force, due to which the train on a magnetic suspension does not come into contact with the rail and is practically not subjected to the braking force of friction. China has been using this technology for nearly two decades, but on a very limited scale. There is now a short magnetic suspension railway line running from one of the airports to the city in Shanghai.

Until now, the world record for the speed of trains belongs to the Japanese train Shinkansen, on April 21, 2015 it was able to accelerate to 603 km / h. However, these tests were carried out at a special stage in Yamanashi prefecture, and only the driver was on board.
