Roskomnadzor sent several publications a request to remove materials written on the investigations of Alexei Navalny and the Anti-Corruption Foundation from 2017 to 2020. How informs “Rain”, the demand concerns news about the investigation “He is not Dimon to you” about the secret residences of Dmitry Medvedev and his retelling, news about the penthouse of the namesake of the wife of the deputy Leonid Slutsky, the apartment of the head of “Rostec” Sergei Chemezov on Manezhnaya Square, the real estate of the family of the head of Tatarstan and dachas head of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin. The RKN demanded that Dozhd report on the removal within 24 hours. The TV channel decided to remove publications from the site.

Znak.com (13 notifications), Meduza (17), Ekho Moskvy (34), Svobodnye Novosti (9) received a demand to remove materials on Navalny’s investigations. The latter should remove the material about “Putin’s palace” near Gelendzhik.

The justification cites the requirement of the Prosecutor General’s Office dated January 28, 2022, according to which the publications distribute materials of an organization whose activities are banned in Russia, which violates the law “On countering extremist activity”. Recall that the FBK was recognized as an extremist organization in June 2021.

Earlier, Roskomnadzor also demanded that the media remove articles written on the investigations of the Proekt publication. It was closed after the Prosecutor General’s Office included the legal entity associated with it in the list of “undesirable organizations”.
