Due to the increased load on the medical system in Moscow, a doctor’s call to the house is possible only for those who cannot come to the clinic due to limited mobility or a severe course of the disease. About it writes RIA Novosti with reference to the press service of the Moscow Department of Health.
The department said that due to the spread of the Omicron coronavirus strain, the load “on all parts of the medical system,” including call centers, the help system at 122 and polyclinics, has increased. The Depzdrav added that the number of doctors on duty has been significantly increased. They work seven days a week from 8 am to 8 pm.
Currently, separate entrances are organized in the capital’s polyclinics for people who have symptoms of SARS. In addition, since January 28, the city has opened the opportunity to receive a remote consultation with a doctor by phone, as well as remotely open or close a sick leave.
According to data headquarters, over the past day in Moscow recorded 26,488 new cases of infection. In total, 113,122 new cases of coronavirus were detected in Russia. 14,570 patients were hospitalized, which is 3.7% more than on January 28.
