Moscow has prepared retaliatory measures in connection with the discrimination of the RT DE channel in Germany, write RIA Novosti and Kommersant, citing government sources.
Among the proposed measures are restrictions on advertising by German companies in the Russian media, “hard penalties” against YouTube; deprivation of DW Deutsch and DW-TV licenses for broadcasting in the Russian Federation and sanctions for journalists.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that retaliatory measures due to the harassment of RT DE could be introduced if the German government does not cancel the decision to ban satellite broadcasting of the channel.
Recall that in December last year, RT DE removed from broadcasting in Europe.
Earlier it became known that YouTube blocked the new channel RT Deutsch on the day of the launch of television broadcasting in German. At the time of blocking, the channel was broadcasting live.
