Journalist Bolot Temirov, who is investigating corruption, was released from the Bishkek police department on bail. About it told Kaktus Media lawyer Nurbek Toktakunov. This information was also confirmed by the representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Saparbek Amankulov. According to the publication, a criminal case was initiated against Temirov under the article “Illegal production of narcotic drugs without the purpose of sale.”
Temirov was kept in the police building until 05:00 without drawing up a protocol of detention. Until that time, akyn Bolot Nazarov was also in the Central Internal Affairs Directorate, who sang about corruption in Temirov’s investigations.
On January 23, protesters gathered near the building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Bishkek. They demanded an end to the persecution of journalist Bolot Temirov and the resignation of the head of the State Committee for National Security, Kamchybek Tashiev. Among the participants of the action there are provocateurs who behave aggressively, the newspaper notes. At the request of the protesters to remove the provocateurs, the policemen replied: “What kind of provocation is this? This is your rally.”
Temirov did not appear before the audience. According to media reports, he is in the Sverdlovsk District Court of Bishkek, which is considering a complaint about the legality of the actions of police officers during the detention of a journalist.

In particular, the investigative journalist told how Tashiev’s nephew’s company earned 37 million soms by acting as an intermediary in the export of Kyrgyzneftegaz products.
On January 22, law enforcers came to the office of Temirov Live in Bishkek, they conducted a search and seized system units and equipment, after which they revealed drugs from Temirov. The journalist was taken to the Bishkek police department. He managed to report that he was not guilty of anything, and drugs planted. Also January 22 detained singer Bolot Nazarov. The State Committee for National Security stated that Nazarov “leaves the office of Temirov Live all the time with drugs.”
