Police in Yekaterinburg conduct a check after a photo session of two girls in underwear in a hotel against the backdrop of the Great Chrysostom Church. The photos that were posted on Instagram are being checked for “insulting the feelings of believers.” photo session did local Instagram blogger Angelina Kuznetsova.

RentHouse apartment chain founder Dmitry Shabalkin, where the photo was taken, said his company had received hundreds of messages from guests “whose religious feelings were offended.”

In law enforcement agencies, the publication “Rise” toldthat the check was initiated after the publications of the media, there were no applications for the girls.

In mid-January, in the city of Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod Region, the police start verification of a video in which a girl danced on a pole on a street in the city center. The check is carried out because of the local chapel in the background.

The press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod Region reported that they were studying the video due to the fact that “in the visibility zone [танца девушки] a religious building is located. At the same time, it is almost impossible to see the chapel on the video.

Initially, the video appeared in the public “Nizhny Novgorod without censorship” on VKontakte. After the video was widely shared on social networks, the video attracted the attention of law enforcement agencies. Based on the results of the check, a procedural decision will be made on the subject of insulting the feelings of believers.
