At an event in the District Officer’s House, pensioners of Yekaterinburg were presented with calendars for 2022 with a portrait of Stalin. About it writes Znak.com with reference to Alexander Turchaninov, head of the Volunteers of the Urals museum.
Turchaninov said that such calendars are printed and presented to pensioners as part of the project “We won in 1945!” since 2018. Then the Sverdlovsk organization “Veterans of military counterintelligence” received a presidential grant for him. According to the website of the Presidential Grants Fund, its amount amounted to 2.5 million rubles.
“This is a comprehensive project dedicated to the Ural Volunteer Tank Corps, which, when formed, bore the name of Stalin,” Turchaninov said.
According to him, the calendar is printed at the request of veterans of the Great Patriotic War, labor and front-line rear. This year pensioners received 2000 calendars.
“We have already had a long-term action, we give them at events free of charge. People thank us very much that we do not forget the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, the Generalissimo. The life of these people passed under his leadership. Veterans and the elderly have an unequivocal positive assessment [деятельности Сталина]”, – said the head of the museum.
