The Kazakh IT company BTS Digital launched a project through the Aitu application to search for people who disappeared during the days of the protests. The project was called “Lost Man”, informs Interfax.
To leave a request to search for a person, you must fill in the data on the missing person in the service. The application is accepted by a dedicated group of operators of the 1414 call center, who immediately transfer it to the internal affairs bodies for subsequent search work, ”the project’s press release says.
To date, there is still no official data on the missing during the protests in Kazakhstan that erupted due to the rise in fuel prices. During special operations in Kazakhstan, more than 6,000 people were detained, 26 were killed, and another 18 were injured, follows from the reports of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the region. No civilian casualties have been reported.
