The vice-speaker of the State Duma from United Russia, propagandist Pyotr Tolstoy, together with his new wife Lidia Bukvinova, turned out to be the owners of almost 200 hectares of land. Tolstoy himself owns a plot of 162 hectares in the Ilovlinsky district of the Volgograd region. His wife owns 10 plots in the Kaluga Region with a total area of 32 hectares. Their market value can be tens of millions of rubles.

In addition, according to the authors of the investigation, in April 2020, Lydia Bukvinova, whom Tolstoy married in 2017, became the owner of a plot and a large house in the village of Veshki near Moscow. Nearby dachas of comparable size are sold at prices ranging from 50 to 100 million rubles.
Bukvinova is also fond of horses. She owns at least three thoroughbred horses: Bilibin-2 (Don breed), Nostalgia (purebred Arabian) and Prometheus (Trakehner).
In 2018, Tolstoy, judging by the declared income, became the richest deputy of the State Duma. During the year he earned about 22 million rubles.
