The Belarusian authorities recognized the Telegram channel of the human rights center “Viasna” and its analogues in social networks as “extremist”

The court of the Zheleznodorozhny district of Gomel recognized the information products of the Telegram channel of the human rights center “Vesna”, as well as its counterparts in social networks and other resources, “extremist materials.” About it informs GUBOPiK of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus.

In November, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus acknowledged “Extremist formation” Internet resources of the Polish TV channel “Belsat”. Shortly before that, the Belarusian authorities also made opposition Telegram channels Nexta, Nexta-Live and many other publications to the corresponding list.

In the beginning of December became known on the detention of the administrator of three Telegram channels recognized as “extremist” in Belarus.
