The British company Airfinity, which is engaged in data analytics in the life sciences and health care, has analyzed the supply of Russian vaccines to other countries. How informs Telegram channel “We Can Explain”, at the request of which the study was carried out, by mid-October 2021, 48 million doses of Sputnik V were exported – this is 4.8% of the volume established by agreements on the supply of vaccines, which were concluded with 62 countries , namely, from one billion doses.

At the same time, the RBC edition published completely different figures in December. The article titled “Russian exports of vaccines exceeded $ 1 billion” reported that the supply of drugs had become a record since the 1990s. “We Can Explain” emphasizes that RBC took the data of the Federal Customs Service on the export of “other vaccines for people” for 10 months of 2021, took the comment of the Ministry of Industry and Trade that almost all of these are anti-ancillary vaccinations. Based on this comment alone, the media announced that the export of Russian vaccines against coronavirus in value terms for 10 months of 2021 amounted to more than $ 1.2 billion.

According to Airfinity, if we take into account that the cost of one dose is $ 10, then in 10 months Russia supplied Sputnik V for $ 480 million, which is almost three times less than RBC reported.

His research also spent publication “Fontanka”. The journalists, based on the data on the manufacturer, the names of the suppliers, the size of the lots and their cost, came to the conclusion that in 10 months Russia supplied Sputnik to other countries for $ 695 million and 255 million rubles. In total, almost $ 700 million, which is 1.7 times less than $ 1.2 billion than was announced in the news of RBC, and then other propaganda media.
