The federal bureau “Yabloko” removed 98 people from the register and deprived of their membership cards. About it informs “Novaya Gazeta” with reference to the statement of the party’s press service.
According to the newspaper, the reason for the exclusion was the nomination of their candidates in the elections to the Moscow City Duma against the candidates nominated by Yabloko, and support in the elections to the State Duma and the Moscow City Duma of candidates who competed with the candidates from Yabloko.
In addition, as reported in the party, the reasons were the signing and distribution of collective appeals containing “false statements” that “defame” Yabloko and cause “political damage” to it during the election campaign.
In particular, among the excluded are the head of the municipal district of Gagarinsky Elena Rusakova, the head of the Ramenki Defense Ministry, the author of the investigation on electronic voting, Maxim Gongalsky, and the candidate for the Moscow City Duma, Petr Karmanov.
Moscow City Duma deputy Daria Besedina was also expelled from the party.
The fact that about “250 enemies of the party discovered in its ranks” are going to be expelled from Yabloko, on the eve wrote and the director of City Projects, ex-party member Maxim Katz, who watched the meeting online.
